Hide and Hair Question

This is my first time using Hide and Hair and I just started feeding it. My calves are not seeming to like the smell/taste of it. I was wondering if I just need to stick it in front of their face a few more times to let them get used to it or what. Has this happened to anybody else? Any suggestions to make them eat?
