We dropped the cage system and shoot the air across the string. When possible we try to have one starter fan to begin pushing the air, then two at the stall panel, then possibly another one or two depending on the size of the heifers at the end of the five head. Sr yearlings need a BIT more air than the little girls. If we take the portacool, air starts with it! Works well if the barn has the air pushing the same direction....and the right direction at that! Don't quite understand those who have four fans, two on each stall divider, blowing toward each other! Ha. Makes a nice whirlwind.
