How've Sales been?

In light of all the news that I hear that still is mostly negative on the U.S. economy, and the fall sales are under way.  Has it impacted the sales much?  Or does the fact that is niche market seem to somewhat be insulating it?  I know when I was down to some of the bred sales last winter, IMO it didn't seem to hurt them much.  Our news up here keeps trying to tell us that we're pulling out of it, but I look around and in Saskatchewan - where we chugged along through what seemed to be the worst of it - is now starting to slow down.  My sale is coming up in a month and I'm a little concerned on how it could go this year.

The good ones are still bringing good money.  I think the middle end might be down a little.  I think is more of a function of supply than anything else as it seems that there are more and more poeple raising club calves now.  Its still hard to get a good one bought for a decent price though.  The market is still strong for the good ones.
