I-80 Steer for Sale

I-80  X Angus/Maine commercial cow  steer “Freeway”  for sale, BD 3/3/2011.  Located 20 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa.  Asking $1,300.  I hate to use this cliche but the pictures do not do him justice. He is only rough clipped but you can tell he is correct, adequate bone & hair, extremely thick, sound and very soft middled for a Maine steer and has the disposition to go with it.  Eligible to be registered as 50% Maine and suitable for a young 4-Her.    As you can tell he has done very well.  Yes he had access to creep but his mother milks like a Holstein.  We took him off of the self feeder a month ago.  Current weight 825#s.    He could be managed for an early summer county fair or shows or pushed to peak next spring.  Transportation at buyers expense but we are only 15-20 minutes from I-80 or  I-35 and would be willing to meet a trailer.  You can post me back or call Craig at 515-238-9852 with questions.
