I know we are under a tornado watch now, yuck- I am really scared of bad weather, Ill bet your cows are mad at you for sure.  There was this lady that tried to cross that
highway and went right into the drink, clear up to the windschield duh- there was also an older lady that drowned the same weekend here too, people really need to listen
when road says closed it means it.

SWMO,
Where I live in northern Wilbarger County we did not get rain last year until the center part of June and it rained 10 days in a row.  Then rained the first day of July and after that rained the second week of August and then only a tenth or two a couple of times always followed by winds.  We got an inch in December in an ice storm if you could measure it...I had an inch but it was frozen....  We got another 1.5 inches in an ice storm in January and then three inches in March and that is when our wheat came up.  I have had a half inch since.

Yes, Wichita Falls had a very wet June last year.

Minimoo,Justamom, that radar @ 6:14pm was the light part of the night. We had golfball sized hail @ that time. A couple of hours later it returned with a vengeance. It was weird, it hailed for about a half an hour with various sizes of stones but all real jagged shapes. Very large area of 4+ inches of rain and I have never seen the water sooo high in Corning. It's up to the roof of the Pizza hut and many people's main living floors are way under water. Fair grounds and race track are both under water also. I feel so bad for those that have it in their homes, it would be awful. Hope that everyone on the Planet is safe and was spared any real harm. Batten down the hatches for another night of fun midwest.

i got your fun right here. it's black sky and sprinkling now. and that's just from the tiny little dot of green above the D in Des Moines. fun, fun, fun. i forgot to mention the wind. it's been nonstop since noon, with 30-35 mph constants, and 45 mph gusts.

Never complain about too much rain, unless your house is under water.  I found complaining about too much rain will come back to bite you in the rear.
