When I was in college I had a hard time finding an internship. I learned a couple things.
1. Use the school as a resource they have lined up many internships before.
2. As with everything in show cattle its not what you know its who you know. And what your name is.
I never did get an internship while going through school but I did find jobs that weren't internships to help pay for school.

How many businesses/individuals have you called?  I found that many places were willing to take on additional help if they knew you were interested in the industry if you just call and ask.  Make sure when you do you are always courteous, you never know what could come of a phone call.  I also agree with Diamond M, so use any connections you have to your advantage.
