The 3a team race is real close

Went last night and watch my cousin elIjah Sullivan was 3rd in 140lb. class 3ai

I wrestled for WSR when we were terrible. Too bad they won't win tonight.  Kromwede will win tonight since he skips chores and wrestles year round.  NE Iowa: Denver, Gilbertville, etc., will still make a statement

Let hope all of the good wrestlers head to Happy Valley and not Iowa City.

I know of a couple of cattle showing regulars who made it to state.

Tyler Mitchell for Charles City (2009 Ia Jr. Beef Points Champion) finished 6th in 2a

Reid Nichols from Atlantic shows cattle quite a bit and also made it to state.

Kind of a bad deal to have Iowa Beef Expo and State Wrestling at the same time for the wrestlers.  Course there's no good time with sports.  Way back in the day, we used to have a hard time with football two a days and showing at the state fair.  FB coach didn't much like that.  Course we did it anyway.  Glad I did too.  Still involved with cattle and my football career didn't work out so well.  <beer>

West High won the State Dual Championship!!

I know Caleb White and Loren Williams in 1A that are from Tri Center.    They are Champions!!!    Logan Magnolia won the State Duels in 1A!!!

Not Iowa, but my former HS won it's 6th Kentucky Championship Overall (no classifcations).  Not too bad for 3A HS out of 6 classifications (1A - 6A) in football.
