I figured I'd snap a couple pics of the girls today while i was walking around [size=10pt]praying for rain[/size] .
1st is "ponytail" a lifeline heifer bred to our clean up bull
2nd  905 her mother a pb charolais bred to HW 5
I'll continue adding pics

top is 244 a char X brahman/ herf bred to Hagans Ante Up
bottom 285 her half sister bred to our clean up bull

top is 353 bred to jimmy the greek
middle is 359 also bred to jimmy the greek
bottom is 361 bred to eyes on the money

Thank you,  the mature cow milks like a holstein and 359 has been special since the day she was born

I couldn't get a good pic of this cow today, but I figured I'd put an old pic of her up just to finish off the herd.
837 was a show heifer of mine and reserve division at Houston, she's an '04 model bred to TR MR. Firewater

Great group. You can tell what you breed for. Really like momma that's bred to HW 5 and the 356 girls. Nice bunch!!! (thumbsup)

Thanks DL it's hard to keep them up when we have no rain and they live off round bales

A very good set of females despite the drought conditions. I wish I could route some rain your way as we are flooded . I have seen many droughts in my life and it is a depressing situation. Hopefully some of this rain will start to move to southern areas that need it desperately. We have had 9 inches of rain in the past 3 days and we were past saturation point before this came. Good luck and I hope you get the rain you need soon.
