I have been showing for years, but have only in the last few years attended winter shows. I usually rinse my calves at least once a day and wash once a week, but during the winter I would hate to get one sick, but I still want them to keep a healthy coat. I do not have great facilities at all. I have a wash rack, but I have to fun water from quite a ways away, so my pressure sucks, plus my barn is not insulated and has poor circulation in the summer. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my show heifer clean in the winter? Thanks!
