Well, I took some pics tonight, since we are bringing the spring show heifers in tomorrow and start working them. These girls have not been touched since last summer; no clipping or special treatment. I look forward to see what we can develop them into. Most are several generations deep in our herd, which is a good feeling. All, except the excessive white one, are bred and owned for the kids (born on our place).
This first set of three all are sired by an embryo bull we raised and used on a few cows. Brianna is a March purebred (dam is a Fat Butt x Built Right cow I have pictured here before), Foxy is a March purebred (dam is a 3/4 blood Upgrade our daughter showed at Nationals in NE, bought from Jeff Miller), and Kat is an April purebred (dam is a Shear Force cow we are selling in our Spring sale in May, bred to Iron Hide). All of these are bred and owned.
