Kleen Sheen/Rah Oil mix on show day?

Is it ok to use a kleen sheen rag oil mix the day of a show? I like to use the mix after im washing in the morning and blow it in because i love the pop that it gives the hair. I'm wondering if this will have any bad effects with the hair, like not popping, when I put in the show foam and adhesive when fitting?
