I have attached a couple pictures of the first bull calf sired by our main herd sire Wolf Willow Major Leroy, that was born in the US. He was Champion and top selling bull at the recent Ohio Beef Expo at $7000. He was bred by Dale Wernicke, Lena, IL and his name is Wernacres Off Road.

We are selling several leroy sons in the upcoming Sun Country Bull Sale on April 18th. They are a thick meaty bunch, with excellent stuctural soundness and fleshing ability. All our Leroy bulls indexed over 100 in the group for ADG as well as REA. One, born May 17th, has a 16.3 sq in ribeye.

Hey Grant,

Wow!  That's a nice looking bull you should be proud of him!  Congatulations!!

Thanks for sending me the catalog for your Sun Country Bull Sale.    I haven't looked at it in detail yet but even just scanning through it sure wasn't hard to see that the Leroy calves were consistently top animals with excellent performance numbers--Very Impressive!!  I may have to take a look at getting some Leroy semen for this small Iowegian operation!!  Good Luck with your sale!!

Great pictures! Bull looks awesome, I thought he was one of the standouts in the catalogue, glad to see he got the job done!

What's his pedigree, what sort of cow was he out of?
