McKean Angus Bull Sale-April 22

My family farm, McKean Brothers Angus, is having our annual bull sale on April 22 (Good Friday) at the family farm this year.  There will be 45 yearling bulls, 25 yearling heifers, and 15 cow/calf pairs.  When I've been home I've seen them and they are a powerful, easy fleshing group with some great bulls. Located near Mercer, PA (which is at the intersection of I-80 and I-79) it is easily accessible close to the Ohio line midway between Erie and Pittsburgh.  Nearly all the bulls are AI sired and the few non-AI are sired by our herd bulls from OCC, TC, or Boyd.

This Friday is the sale. There have been a few calls because of this post and thank you because now my dad realizes how beneficial a website will be.

Well the sale went great. Our best sale to date. I don't have all the info just what I was told when I called shortly after the sale but bulls averaged just over $2500 with a high of $5000. Heifers sold in the $1400 range mostly and pairs in the $2000's. Just an update for the curious
