so WHAT is the "outcross"?  some of us DO have canadian genetics in our herds...or are these the first cattle you have ever sold from your closed herd?  how long has the herd been closed?

you're right.  I can see how there are very few FJH Executive and or Showtime genetics either side of the border.  Marvin must have been less successful selling semen/genetics on that bull than I thought.  When I saw him at the NILE, I sure didn't think that would be a problem.

FJH Executive is one of the most heavily used bulls in the Maine-Anjou breed, I can't even imagine how many cows families go back to to those 2 bulls genetics, whether it is a grown up comment or not, you should probably do a little research or specify exactly what you consider to be an outcross.

he's  out cross enough to breed direct daughters of executive to him and they would be far enough away that there would be no problems his mom is out of a revolutions son who traces back to executive but from that red bull calf the executive is at least 5 or 6 generations back on the cows sires side
