Just purchased this bull. His name is SMF Solution. He is a Solution son out of GS Touches' Carly. Pretty excited about him. Have seen some pretty good calves by him.

I remember Carly-she was a real moose-and one of the thickest females of her time-along maybe with Cedar Curve Farrah-both of them had some fullblood maine-and Sumptions (as mentioned by JIT I think) were into the club calf deal when everybody else was ruining stout thick cattle with bulls like Ayatollah. He doesnt appear to be a calving ease bull-but Ill bet he makes em thick O0

Yea Mark, she is a good rip. She is still alive at Walt's place and looks more like a 7 yo than the 17 yo that she is. She did have some Maine in her along with some Charolais.
Yea , I didn't buy him as a heifer bull, but I don't think he will be a cow killer either. C&A hasn't had any problems calving him.

Any photos of calves that you can share or tell us where to look? Great looking stud.

Congrats Doc!  I have always wondered about this bull as to why he was not being used more. I have always liked him and his dam is a simply amazing female. He should be a great breeding addition to your herd.

Ance sent me some pictures of that bull when he got him home a couple of years ago.  He's pretty good.  I was hoping to be able to use him sometime.  Best of luck.  Too bad he looks like Talledaga!  LOL.
