Would like to recognize my daughters livestock juding team. The Fairfield FFA livestock judging team from Goshen, Indiana, competed in Denver, Colo. in the National Western Livestock Judging Competition in the 4-H division. Fairfield won the contest by a large margin of 39 points. They placed all four individuals in the top ten while winning reasons, beef, sheep and swine as a team. The team also qualified and will be going to Scotland to compete in the Royal Highlands Livestock Judging contest in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Jessica Beer - 1st overall (1st in reasons, 1st in beef, 2nd in sheep and 4th in swine)
Marissa Lorenz - 3rd overall (1st in sheep, 5th in reasons, 6th in beef and 8th in swine)
Ashley Leer - 5th overall (3rd in swine, 5th in beer, 9th in sheep and 9th in reasons)
Carrie Anglemeyer - 9th overall (4th in beef and 7th in reasons)
