Need grooming advice for steer with limited hair....

Our county fair is a month away.  Our steer has very limited hair, although he had plenty until mid-May.  He is under fans, although not in a cool room.  Does anyone have advice for products and/or supplements that may be helpful in adding shine and or a bit of hair growth?  Also, not quite sure how to groom him if he has limited hair...Should we pull up this legs as possible and final bloom his sides?  Thanks for your help.

The add hair is a tall order with a month to go.  All you can do is rinse/brush and a lot of it.  You could try something like Shag but I think you will get very little gain in that period of time.

Daily use of Double Dip and/or Sheen will help with the skin and hair health, and I would also use some Revive every other day or so.  At show you can use final bloom for more shine, especially if you do not have to worry so much about weighing down a lot of hair.

Add barley to the ration if you need a smoother finish to him.
