need help with cattle costume

So my 8 year old son is going to enter a costume contest with his Braunvieh heifer at Jr Nationals...he wants to go as a wrestler and his heifer will be his "coach". She will have a whistle around her neck, wristbands and we would like a big ball cap on her head that says "COACH"..  Any ideas on getting a hat like this?

Use iron on letters from walmart... Staple some velcro straps on it to secure.  Depending on the hat you may have to stuff it w/ newspaper to keep a shape.

for a hat, might try some of the foam like they make the big foam hand with the index finger poking up or the oversized foam cowboy hats.  could probably make a ball cap style one for the heifer.
