Need more bloom in show heifer????

I have got a 8 month on show heifer that I cant since to get to bloom out.  We are feeding her show chow fitters edge and 3lbs of depth charge a day and still not doing the job I want.  Been feeding depth charge since Nov.  She seems to be a picky eater to.  Anyone has any ideas to help her to bloom?

I tried feeding fitters edge to one last year and it just never did the trick. I went back to feeding my custom ration from the feed mill and she came on in a big way. I am never awitching again. I will stick with what works. You can also try adding beet pulp.

Beet pulp isn't going to add "bloom". I'd get her on some calf mana or other milk-based protein supplement.

Rumafill is a pellet that ADM sells. She will eat it and fill her up.

Very nice heifer. I'd try some sure champ and like OFS said with the milk based product.

in comparison to all the other products, calf manna can be a cheap supplement to add to your ration. We had it mixed right in the milled ration. We also have fed show bloom when not feeding calf manna. It helps some. Keep the protein levels on her ration in check.

We like to feed calf mana and a yeast based product with it ( show bloom or sure champ). The difference in their feed conversion and overall appearance can vastly improve in just a couple weeks.

I don't have an answer for you but for the person who mixes calf manna into their feed ration- how much should be added per ton?

We do 50 lbs per 1000.

Its recommended for a creep ration use 10%. We don't feed that heavy in our show ration. ours be about same as OF listed. 100 per ton.
