need your opinions

I have a six year old simmy cow that I bred in April. Yesterday when I was feeding, I noticed that when she humped her back to try and pee not much happened. Again today the same thing, a small stream or even a trickle, that's all she done. I was wondering if this could be a urinary infection or something in that line. I have never heard of this before, and thought this would be the group to ask. I did call a vet and he acted like it was nothing to worry about. Also I saw another heifer do the same thing last week. The only thing my cows are getting right now is pasture grass, and grass hay that came from a neighbor that have horses. The hay was alittle dusty and I didn't know if that could have anything to do with it.
