Nephew's first show!!!!

My nephew loves cattle and has spent the last year tagging along to shows and "helping" brush, blow and lead calves. Last weekend, he got some time in the ring too at a small local event called Kids and Cows. It is aimed at involving very young and non-ag kids with cattle in a highly chaperoned environment where they get to work with some of the best show prospects from this part of the state.  My nephew just turned 3 and has my sister as a helper; he is showing her steer prospect for county next year. I think the boy's gonna be a natural!

He also did showmanship! I love the look on his face when he is talking to the judge about his calf- Priceless!!
