New Sire at Bovine Elite - PHA and TH Free

We are pleased to introduce Pioneer.  He is a PHA and TH free son of DLDJ Complete by DCC Total Package by BPJV Hotline back on an Irish Whiskey cow.  Semen is available for $25 per unit at Bovine Elite.  This is ET quality semen collected at Elgin Breeding Service.  We acquired this bull in March 2011 through the Ryan Went and Friends bull sale.  He was Lot 20 in that sale.  You can see his video here:

The PHA and TH issue gets a lot of press on this site, however, I suggest that you consider this bull, not because he is clean, but because he is good.  Pioneer is a power beef bull that just happens to be clean.  He is big butted, deep flanked, has a huge foot and sits down perfect on his pasterns.  He also charted a 40 cm yearling scrotal, so expect his daughters to be great mothers.  I have him turned out right now breeding Charolais and American cows.

Is there a correlation between S.C. and mothering ability? 

I always thought it was between S.C. and age at puberty plus daughter fertility.
