I have had several females from the Diamond herd, and each and every one of them has worked extremely well in our herd. They are practical, fertile, trouble free and productive. I can recommend these cattle to most anyone. Their track record is second to none. I will be attending this sale, and if anyone would like me to look at any of the cattle selling, I would be more than happy to give you my honest appraisal of them. Whether you are just starting a herd, or you have spent a lifetime in this business, this is a set of cattle you should consider!
I feel this may be their best sale offering ever!

This cow is probably as good as any we have offered in a sale. I think she is pretty complete!

The cattle are looking good!! Wish you had the sale a week later so we could attend.  :(
We we fortunate to be able to get a group of Diamond females in 2007 and 2008 and their offspring have become "TOP" producers for us and other breeders.  Their cattle will work for anyone!!

A question that gets asked all the time on here is "what bloodlines should I use for clubby moms" well not just bloodlines should be looked at but a good solid maternal sound cow is what is needed. These bred heifers would be a great buy for a start. I have used this herds cows for that reason and it works. I get shorthorn colours calves when bred to the clubby bulls. The good thing is that the females are not throw aways like some of the clubby on clubby matings. I cannot post photos from my computer or I would give examples.

Nice videos Jamie! Wishing you folks much success. The old Diamond Baroness 21J cow has certainly had a positive genetic influence here. Your Frimley Ultra Susan 43U is really proving herself also. Wish I could make it up for the sale.

I've been through the sale cattle here today, and this is a very solid set of real working cattle. Thick, moderate framed, no nonsense cattle that I think can work anywhere. This is the sale that the Diamond Helena Dottie 12H sold through a few years ago, and she has proven to be a superior mother of many breed leading animals, including Waco, and Cloud 9. I think there are several females that would be in the same league as Helena Dottie, in regards to their breeding potential and this is an opportunity to purchase some very sound genetics at real world prices and design your own next breed leading sire or breeding female!

If anyone has any interest in some good working cattle backed by reputation breeders, give me a shout and I will give you my opinion on any of them. The sale is also being broadcast on www.dlms.ca and you can register and bid from yoru arm chair if you desire.

I left my laptop with buyers names in the Auction market office so here is a price list. Most animals stayed in Alberta, a couple to Ontario, 2 or 3 Sask and most of the flush lots to Ron & Tammy Robarge - Ney, OHIO. Goldenview took 8 lots and that is pretty exciting and a 6 head to a new local breeder. About 4 head went to juniors. The high seller was Lot 10 at $4200. Pretty pleased wiyh how everything went!
