Open Cow with Blood coming out of Vulva

I have an open cow that has a calf on her about 1 month old. She currently has blood coming from her vulva and it raises the question of what is wrong? I have never had one show this sign however I have heard of blood discharge when coming out of heat so I wonder if this is it but I felt I better put it out on SP for opinions. There is no clear discharge with it however there was a couple days ago with no blood. The blood is new as of this afternoon/evening. Thanks for your help!

One day clear mucus, 2 days later blood.... she had a heat would be my guess.

You missed a heat, watch for another heat in 18 to 21 days.
