Hello.  I am new to steerplanet, but have been visiting the site for a long time.  Below are a few pics of a january Angus heifer out of BC Lookout we raised.  What are your opinions? Thanks!

The first two pics were taken at 4 months, the day we clipped her, and the last few were taken today, she is 6 months old.

I  really like the Lookout cattle ,especially the females , you have a very nice heifer, how is her mother bred. the third picture sure makes her look a little different than the others. Welcome to Steer Planet an very nice heifer you raised an she definitely will help your herd in the future .

Thanks!  We also raised her mother.  She is a Bando 0699 (an ABS bull) and on the bottom side, a granddaughter of 036.  Here is a pic of her mom @ about sixteen months old.

Both are cows I'd be proud to own. Congratulations!

Btw, I'm totally jealous of all the green grass you have.

You have quite a pair of Angus females. Moderate size and structurally correct. You could be holding the keys to some really good cattle down the line. Good foundation is where it all begins. Happy Trails.

Really like the heifer.  Tried some Lookout on a Bando 598 cow and a 1407 cow, so I hope they stuck -- will find out in a couple of weeks - hoping they do not need the clean up bull.

we had about 20 lookouts last fall. they all came small 65-80 pounds on mature chi cross cows. I didn't really like them at first, but wow they really did well. Just got done scanning the yearling bulls and the lookouts did very well.

BTW nice set of females.
