shortdawg, i have a hereford feeder steer that is super long, what can i feed him to fill him up he weigh's 710, marty

Nice pair of steers Shortdawg. I like the Eye Candy steer. You should have fun with them.

I sold some shorty and shorty plus calves down here which is why we are not showing them. I do have two shorty plus heifers that were are showing but one is going commercial and the other Chi. I posted pics of both of them earlier in the year.

These get 25# feed/day and all the hay they want. I'm not a big supplement guy - just feed, hay, water for us. The Hereford Steer won his breed show at the Futurity last week. Simmy was 3rd out of ten.

Looking good the Hereford marked steer is way long and with time will weigh well. The black steer is a certainly stout and the pick at the moment.  (thumbsup)
