Our 2010 4H Angus steer

This is my sons angus steer he raised. We had champion angus steer at our county fair and also at the northern classic beef open show(Elkhart county Indiana) this weekend.

His sire is Dr J Analyst M250. The judges have all said he had no holes. We wish he would have had more hair but no cooler and the heat we've had equals no hair.

This guy didn't need hair.  Angus ought to show slick anyway.

Your steer looks nice...  Not trying to steel the thread, but what was everyone's thoughts on the show?

I like the show. My family all showed at Elkhart. My nephew and niece still show so we make a day of it. There are some quality calves brought in along with the calves that are allready there.
