I'm the owner of the bull and I've stewed over and over whether or not to reply to post...I've read several post over the last few years, but never felt lead to post on the forum. We calved 27 P2B cows this last spring in March (iowa). All the calves survived our frigid cold winter in iowa. Calves had very good vigor..heifer calves weighed 62-80#...bull calves 71-90#. Calves are approaching 5 1 / 2 months and calves seem to be growing really well, as you know the summer in Iowa has been very good. Cattle as a whole are doing great. P2B seems to be breeding very consistent. I was in a friends herd a few weeks ago and he had purchased 20 units of P2B semen and received 17 live calves . I was able to pick out every calf out of P2B, because of the uniformity and docile attitude.
