Question about semen

Just got some semen today we bought. One is identified as Rs complete but the registration number on it doesn't mesh with the bull on the Asa. The registration number on the straw is x4144671 which comes back as a female any ideas?

Call the semen company. Typos do happen. Might be someone mixed up a couple numbers and didn't catch it.

The stud code will tell where to call . But more importantly a AI bull and or Donor must have DNA, TH, PHA and soon DS status recorded with American Shorthorn Association - if not on record then it will become difficult to get AI certs .  You can check on line when you search Reg #'s of bulls and or donors. Most breeders are aware of this rule.

Your straw might have Name, Reg # and then 179 SP 93  ( 179 is the stud code)
