we have 3 days  before we show and now the steer is acting crazy when we walk him he is trying to pull away when we walk him any ideas

give the animal an injection of Acepromazine. for a 1000+lb steer or heifer i would give it a half cc or a little more in the vain. or you can put the dosage in a 20 cc syringe and fill the rest with water and shoot it down there throat. it should help to take off the edge. but i would warn you not to give to much because if you give to much you may make them restless or tired and they may not preform very well. hope this helps (thumbsup)

calf calm paste works pretty well too... and from what i remember, it's all natural and is less prone to having the adverse effects of too much Ace.
