Does anyone have any experience with Red Ter-Ron real deal,Wicked or Solo Cup?  Solo Cup wouldn't have any calves on the ground, I like real deal other than the front end and bw, but wicked looks decent and there should be a calf crop on the ground out of him.  Looking for a solid outcross that won't kill me on any one trait on paper and visually would be really thick, big topped, big ribbed sound, EXCELLENT FOOTED, and good udders in the cow line.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Real Deal does have some BW and will put some leather on the front ends. I don't have any experience with either of the other two bulls so I'm not much help there. We keep adding bulls to our semen sales business and I'm sure that you have checked them out. We are always on the look out for more bulls as well. You might think about the old Game Plan 508 bull, phenomenal feet on this bull even at his age, I don't know if he will fit the bill for you or not.

The Wilbar Tornado bull should be a female making machine going back to the Mambo 28K bull. He is sound and for a calving ease bull has quite alot of width and dimension. The Master 14U bull is an interesting pedigree for me. Sired by the YY Red Knight 64U, a proven producer of some exceptional females and out of the Patricia 306N cow who if I remember correctly was the top selling female at the Fine Line dispersal at something like 50K. I bought a son of 14U this spring that will be catching whatever heifers that I missed AI. He makes them thick and deep for sure.

Win-Chester has a history of making thick, sound moving calves and his breeders are known for their females.
Firestorm has the potential, but nothing proven, but his pedigree is strong.
Timberline is a son of Timberlake and should breed similiar to his sire, Timberlake.

You might call Lance at Cattle Visions, he seems to know the bulls he carries quite well, so would be able to offer advice, but keep in mind, he is in the business of selling semen, so his recommendations, like all other semen dealers, will be biased toward his bulls.
Another person to contact might be an auctioneer of red angus. They see lots of cattle and since they are not selling semen, would offer you an honest appraisal of the bloodlines.

one more to bring up is RED LAZY MC CC DETOUR 2W? Anybody have any calves?

I have not seen enough Detour calves to make any comments but I will comment on his dam who was an outstanding female in many ways but her udder was not one of the better things about her.  If udder structure is a major issue for you I most likely would not use Detour as based on his dam I would not expect him to improve udders although he may not hurt them.

Mill Iron A I can give you some more info on Real Deal.  We have three calf crops on the ground and daughters milking.  He will give you larger BW's but we have not had any calving issues with his calves.  For us his strength is his daughters, they are soft made, deep ribbed females with great udder quality.  His low Milk EPD is a bit of a head scratcher for us as his daughters have ample milk.  His sons are big, performance bulls and have been easy to market to our commercial customers.  We are now using 2 of our own home raised Real Deal sons in our program because we don't like to AI that much.

Detour has sired some good calves.  They will be fairly thick and moderate.  He himself was quite moderate and if hair is important to you I would stay away from the Redman line.  His dam was a big, powerful cow but her udder was not built to last.

Win-Chest was a bit of a freak for an Indeed son. High performing which probably comes from his mother.  He had a fair bit of shoulder as a calf.

I would be cautious of the feet on Timberline.  I have seen some of the other bulls suggested or progeny if you want more information.

THESE ARE JUST MY OWN OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS.

Thank you to all, I value all of your opnions and I'm still going to get out and go see the cattle but sometimes its hard to know which cattle to go and look at. Big Wheel, as far as the milk epd it is useless to me.  You have to go look at the daughters for sure.  This happened to me with charolais cattle but in the hoodoo line which is supposed to be negative milk and one of the bulls we have used a lot of, no exaggeration, the daughters have as much or more milk than the red angus cows.  Hair is extrememly important to me but not from a show standpoint, from an insulation standpoint.  Again I really appreciate everyone relating their experiences and opinions with me.

Big Wheel - Does the bad feet from Timberline (which if I recall is just a young bull?) come from Timberlake or his dam? I have seen several older timberlakes and they have all been sound.

Real Deal has sired the most hair of any Red Angus bull I have seen. I appreciate your comments about the milk EPD's.

Someone whose opinion I value saw Timberline as a yearling and was not impressed with his feet. It wouldn't come from Timberlake from my observations.
