Reducing a neck hump/crest?

Well back from San Antonio... our little ranch raised steer got a 7th in the middle weight Limi class.  On to Houston but just wondered if any of you have a suggestion on if there's any way to reduce the neck hump on a steer?  The judge really liked him (told son) and said he would have placed him higher but he felt he had just a little too much crest on his neck... 
I doubt it but just asking....

Cresty steers are usually a result of being left a bull too long.

I'd save your money because you will be showing in just a couple of weeks and that is not enough time to do much good.
