to the people who went to the cyclone clyassic on saterday What did you think of the judge?
to the people who didnt have you ever heard a judge say he liked the calf cause it had hairy ears or docting the calf cause it had to good of a fitt job

Hairy ears generally is a sign that they are going to be good haired.  I dont think he should have used one over the other because of that.  Docking one on the fit job is tricky, if he truly docked the calf because of the fit job, then I dont disagree, if he just mentioned the fit job in his reasons, then yes I have heard it and have done it myself.  There are often times calves come in there and on first apraisal look like a million bucks.  Then when you get in close they are all hair, glue and clip job and there is no true substance to the calf under it.  Those calves dont necessarily get knocked because the fit job is good, they get knocked because whats under the hair doesnt hold true to what the fit job makes them look like they should be.
