I know you might not want to share your Denver winning secret for a show day fitting or grooming products, but does anyone have any special mixtures they use for daily sheens or for show day to pop hair?

I Love Kleen Sheen, but it is expensive, and it can be improved. Cutting 1/2 with vinegar is very popular, as is cutting 1/2 with water. Of course, with either of these you lose some of the product capability. I tried many versions through the years, and finally settled on pouring 1/2 gallon of Kleen Sheen into an empty gallon jug. Then, add to each Jug, one bottle of Wintergreen Alcohol, 1 tube of Max Hold Hair Gel, and enough of your favorite Fly Spray concentrate for1 gallon. Fill the remainder of each jug, fill with vineger, and shake 'til your arms fall off. This is my daily use (twice a day) product. For show day prep (Black Cattle), before the final fill, add one quart of pre-mixed Black Hair Dye, and then fill with vinegar. This one really pops the intensity of the hair color. After all this, I still prefer Sullivan's Zoom Bloom and about 20 minutes of blowing each side for the final body hair work before entering the ring.

THANKS SO MUCH!!!! I will look back for the other posts, but yours is VERY helpful. 80% of our cattle are black hided. I am printing yours off and will mix some this weekend. I have used Laser Sheen or Sullivan's Ultra Sheen concentrates and water for daily use, but have never put anything with it. It works great but I had seen discussion on here of a lot of people using other stuff. Thanks again for your willingness to share.
What does the Wintergreen Alcohol do?
