My son won grand champion market steer at our county fair, which is not easy to do.  We have some very good steers here. 

I just want to say thanks to everyone for their thoughts and advice, not to mention the Hall of Fame discussions.  I learned a lot on this board, and now my kid is bugging me for next year's steer.  As a bonus, my niece wants to get back into it, too! (clapping)

Thank you.  Now, convincing him it won't happen every year is going to be hard, because this was his first steer project.  But it's sure going to be fun!
