Selection Of A Steer

So I am deciding wether to show beef i want to show sheep too but i can not sell more then one animal) Any ways I was wondering what I look for in a steer
* Selection in calf
*Training
*Fitting

You'll get a lot of good advice on here, but you need hands on advice & help.    I'd look for a local breeder or other person who helps juniors out.

I agree with Kanshow. Also, start out slow and don't get too heavy in debt on your first project. It's all about learning. Then after that you can get more serious.
