Setting up recip cows

How much does it cost on average for setting up recip cows drugs and all?

I would say about $20 total/head. $5 for Lut, $5 for GnRH, and $10 for a CIDR would be my best estimate.

We just put in our first embryo and if all goes well and she does not come into heat in the next day or two everything went well.  We just used a shot of lut to get her into heat and put the embryo in 7 days after her standing heat.  I dont know if I would recommend this method but it was cheeper and worked well for us.
