Had a JPJ bull calf this morning out of our Ka'Ba Cowboy X Ka'Ba Keystone cow. Wanted to see what you guys thought, he is only a couple hours old in the picture.

Looks like a thick made calf that knows where dinner is.  Hope to see more when he older. Thanks for the pics.

I passed his picture along earlier today-hell be one of the thickest newborns under 90 pounds Ive seen in several years. Remember back to an earlier time-when Shorthorns ruled the shows-and went back to Oldschool Shorthorn genetics in Oklahoma and Texas like that cafs grandma-He probably wont be big enuff for a bull-I hope Im proven wrong-who couldnt use a cool looking clean bull like that one!!! Good looking calf hbcc, he should do well for you!

Thanks Jacob, hopefully he will turn out! I'm hoping we can get a calf up there that will win something for your daughter!

Thanks Mike I appreciate it! We bought that cow from Carl Venable way back in 2000 or so, she lived to be 14 and died in 2010. We were able to get her flushed to JPJ, Vortec, and Tuscaloosa. We haven't had a Vortec or Tuscaloosa yet, we are implanting a couple cows in May and haven't decided which one to put in yet, the only one we have decided for sure is your Lily embryo. May be a coin flip if Drew and I can't agree!
