I agree with mark on HC Touchdown as an option, or some other options Saskvalley Bonanza 219M has a lot of natural easy fleshing ability moreover the Saskvalley cattle have really crossed well with the Trump lines (Me N' My Hawkeye is a example or Shadylane Rockstar).  If you are looking at the red options there are A&T Captain Obvious 606S,  RS DV 034 329 08, or Diamond Prophecy 21P.

I'm liking the looks of the MAV Bellringer calves.///// FORGOT HIM GOOD CHOICE-you can put Creole on line bred rodeo etc-cuz he has alot of bonified real commercial working-parts in the background,in a super attractive package.-the clubby but powerfull cow end of Bellrigers dam-serves alot of the same fuctions-as Touchdown and others would-in terms of rib,body mass etc. Vogels and Studers(who oughta let some semen out) have some of the best real world functional  cattle-that you can use-and change things a little,and SHOW O0

Captain Obvious is working on sonny/trump lines give me a week and I can tell how well- At this point I am  justing taking a satisfied customer's word for it. We have good reports on a Captain X Vortec mating too, that same herd used him on Solution son's as well. 

Two of his sons by two different breeders sold bulls sired by him for good money.

its north of baton rouge and yea cant go wrong with shorthorns just getting into the breed but lovin it so far won louisiana bred champion this year at state
