It seems like all of the shows are getting deeper and much better quality, local ones around here especially.  The National Peanut Festival Junior show for instance was far and away probably 3 or 4 times deeper this year in quality even though numbers were a touch off.  It was especially apparent in the angus classes there.  Has anyone else notices a significant increase in overall quality from last year?  It could just be a somewhat local phenomenon so I thought I'd ask.

We just had our county fair. Last years champion was a no brainer. He walked in the ring and the heavens opened up. This year it was much closer and deeper. It seemed as though you could have parked a small car on top of most of the steers they were so thick. I don't think that the winner could hold a candle to last years champ but the quality definitely ran much deeper.
