Thank you again. I'm thinking about going with Mo Town now. He has impressive EPDs and since he should cross well with SG72 and RH1. They'll be having their second calf so they should milk real well.

Most vets in my area are not good at AI.   I would talk to the rep that you buy the semen from & see if they know of an AI tech in your area.   

I know that 500 bucks is alot of money. But, ABS charged 500 for family rate. My nephew and I went and learned how to AI ourselves. It is an investment in your cow herd. It is worth the money. WHen a cow/heifer is in heat and needs bred, you don't have to wait on anyone. YOu just do it. Practice makes perfect. I was pretty proud of our conception rate this past year. WE only missed 2 our of 15. That is not too bad. COvered with the bull.
