Six Bred Heifers for $100!

Iowa will be hosting the 2010 American Junior Simmental Association National Classic in Des Moines July 11-16, 2010.  To raise money for the event, the Iowa Simmental Association is raffling off a pen of 6 spring bred females at the 2010 Iowa Beef Expo.  The heifers have been donated by Drake Simmentals, Golden Acres Simmentals, Janssen Farms, Jass Simmentals, Long’s Simmentals and Reck Brothers-N-Sons.  Only 600 tickets will be made available at a price of $100 per ticket.  The winning ticket takes home all six females.  Anyone wishing to purchase a ticket can PM me, contact any member of the Iowa Junior Simmental Association, or call Carrie Erger at 319-551-7626.

Yes - there will be IJSA members selling tickets in Kansas City.

Yes, the National Classic is the same thing as the Simmental Junior Nationals.

Could you give us some more info. on the cattle.  What's the age of females, color, bloodlines.  Think this would help you sale more of the tickets.
