Thought I would update some of our spring cattle pics.
The first two are of a red Feb bull calf we are raising. He is sired by the bull in my avatar, a SVF Dominator son and out of a Shear Force daughter. This bull calf is a 3/4 sib to the red steer my daughter showed last year and won a bunch with, along with the carcass contest.
The third pic is our Club King x 3/4 Dream On cow embryo heifer calf. She is a half sib to the bull Jeff Miller sold in The One sale in Denver. She just got done nursing (love the milk face!), and is standing with her recip dam.
The fourth pic is our Steel Force embryo bull calf on the left, and an Ellington Dominator (ABS) heifer calf on the right. Both are Feb calves.
The last pic is a red heifer my daughter hopes to show next year. She is real thick, her dam is a Trademark and her sire is CCR Force, a Shear Force son. She is a March.
We are real happy with our spring calf crop so far, and have two left to calf the first of June. Late for us, but looking forward to those two!
