Steel Force dead?

I had a friend tell me tonight Steel Force died a few weeks ago, any one else hear this or know if it is true?

How did he look? Is the only place you can buy his semen is the auctions twice a year? Same person told me his dad bought some Steel Force semen from a distributor (they are flushing a cow to him next week).
