Steer has lumps on neck/ need advice

After bro g named champion steer at the last show I went to this my steer got sick so we gave home a shot of la 300 and he cleared up but now he has bumps on his neck and I was wondering if it will effect our placing at the fair or if we could do something to make the swelling go down. When is your fair first off? Was the shot on the show or off side?

Our fair is in a week and the shot was given half on one side and half on the other.I should also mention that the lumps have gone down since the shot was given but I'm worried they are still going to be very visible during fair.

The lumps should go down in about 5-7 days.
