Well, you missed out then, everything sold very reasonable.  They sold way less than expected, that is my opinion.  I wrote down a few lots if interested.

The big money Angus herds rarely do as well in their dispersals as one would expect based on their production sales because the promise of them coming back and "returning the favor" at the buyer's sales no longer exists.

It's the same in all breeds. You will usually see more of the "smaller breeder" buying at these sales than the "big breeders" because of the fact they know there won't be a payback.

The Seductive Rose donor didnt' sell.  In talking with some people, they are keeping that cow.  The Una Mary cow sold for $5250 and Little Cedar purchased that.  The Revival 602 donor sold for $10,000 and went to Sullivan farms.

Here are a few lots that I paid attention to:

Lot 2    5500
Lot 2a  2600
Lot 9    5500
Lot 9a  2000
Lot 21  3100
Lot 10  4800
Lot 10a 5500

There were quite a few other in between there that sold between 1400 and 2000.  I was only there for the first 30 lots or so.
