Ok our gert needs to "POP". What are the suggestions?
Here is his info:
910 lb. San Gert.
eats 32 lb of Show master calf grower - we are moving to finisher next week. We tried to up him to 40 lb a day but he was leaving feed to waste
1 waffer of coastal hay a day

Any suggestions???

That is a bunch of feed to be putting through a 920 pound calf.  He should be gaining 5+/day on that.

I expect he'll back off when you change to a hotter feed.  Be careful in the transition, go slow.

What is your definition of 'pop'?  He seems to be doing very well.

He doesn't have much muscle structure/ muscle definition.

Get him on some zilmax the last 60 days or so!

Get him on some zilmax the last 60 days or so!

I would only have him on Zilmax the last 20 days. Any longer than that and you are just throwing your money away. Remember there is a 3 day withdraw period.
