AAOK-At the Iowa State Fair, the 4-H and FFA have seperate shows.  The 4-H show is bigger and the winner of this show is generally considered the supreme heifer.......

Thanks for the info.  Why are they separated?  In Okla. at the State events, 4-H & FFA show together, as many belong to both organizations.

Rules are different for both shows.  4H is taken much more seriously by the committees at ISF.  FFA is usually much more relaxed about rules from what I have seen.

In Iowa, you can only show in 4-H until aged 18 and FFA until 21-might be another reason they are seperated.  Kids can show in both shows...just not the same calf.  Both are quality shows with good numbers and it adds to the quality and quantity of shows at this historically top notch institution.

Ben stopped by our house tonight and he mentioned that Wagonhammer Ranch has a good picture of his heifer on their website.
