I have an April 9 shorthorn plus heifer that is very clean upfront and could use some feed. The only problem is that she is getting fat deposits around her tailhead and her tail head is protruding enough to where it is getting very unattractive. Any tips? has this happenned to anyone else? Thanks <cowboy>

A cure from the dark ages---get a rolling pin-you know like granny used to roll out bread dough, and roll, roll roll.  You can rearrange the problem.

Those are the type of genetics that wipped shorthorns off the map. The type that carry fat like a dairy cow having fat deposits before an even layer of finish.  I have a cow or two like this too. Fat gobs around their tail head and looking like a bcs of 4 from the profile.  Selection is only solution I know of.
