There is currently a quarantine area in north central nebraska.  I have no idea where the cow originated, just there has been a positive test in the area.

Omaha World Herald says "the results of the first week of testing have come back negative" goes on to say 1700 head were tested between 6/15 and 6/21 with results on 3300 head pending.

Last I heard, 31 herds in Rock County and the surrounding areas had been quarantined.  Keeping in touch with my vet, waiting for any other news lol.

There was a quarenteen for our calves that just came back from texas about 3 weeks ago. They are fine now though. I am not positive what it was for. But the inspector that came out said that something was found in a Dairy herd in Texas.
